Lambda Theta Alpha takes pride in their devotion to the community. The sisters of Beta Xi chapter carry on the dedication to the community by participating in various ways.

During the Christmas season we take part in clothes drives as well as a program called "Adopt-a-family", where we collect food, clothes and toys for a needy family. During "Dia de Los Muertos" we decorate altars, which are displayed at St. Joseph's Cathedral. Teatro Vision is another company to whom we donate our time by ushering for various plays that they put on for our community. Our philanthropies include the contribution of our time to the yearly radio-a-thon in conjuction with St. Judes Children's research hospital and our participation in the Aids Walk held here in the city San Jose.
